Studying Deng Xiao-ping's Thoughts on Talent Resources to Meet the Challenge of Knowledge Economy

During his leadership in the construction of Chinese socialist modernizations and faced with great historical opportunities and challenges from modern and science and technology, Mr. Deng Xiao-ping not only put forward the proposition of "Science and technology is the first productivity", which uncovers the basic characteristics of knowledge economy and deeply expounds the inherent laws among economy, science and technology, talents, and education, and the strategic significance of training "thousands of millions" of different talent resources at all levels.
