Abstract:An example to deal with abnormal on-line infrared detection of 220 kV MOA(metal oxide arresters) is introduced in this thesis. By analyzing the result of on-line measurement, off-line testing and disassembly on the arresters, the thesis points out that on-line infrared detection and ohmic current measurement can accurately differentiate damp defect of metal oxide arresters in time.
