摘    要:介绍了高钢级直缝埋弧焊管无损检测的主要技术要求,通过对超声波探头的基本结构、工作原理和钢管母材缺陷分布特征的分析。以及在高钢级直缝埋弧焊管管端母材非分层缺陷检测的应用过程。对现有钢管母材超声波探伤普通探头和超大型晶片斜探头探伤方法进行了比较。结果显示,超大型晶片斜探头探伤方法大大提高了钢管母材非分层缺陷检测效率,为钢管母材非分层缺陷在线超声波检测提供了新的思路和方向。

Abstract:In this article, it introduced the main technical requirements of nondestructive testing(NDT) for high grade longitudinal seam submerged arc welded(SAWL) pipe. Through analysis on the basic structure and working principle of UT probe, and distribution characteristic of base metal defect, as well as the application process of inspecting base metal non-lamination defection on high grade SAWL pipe end, it compared UT method by using common probe with that by oversize probe. The result showed that the oversize chip angle probe test method can greatly increase detection efficiency of base metal non-lamination defects, reduce quality risk, and provide new approach and direction for on-line UT of base metal non-lamination defects.
