Losses in composite superconductors at a high level of magnetic field excitation: Part 2

Losses in a round composite superconductor are discussed. The calculated results are in good agreement with experimental data obtained. An analysis is provided of the effect of the collective interaction between turns in the winding at a high level of excitation, ie, under conditions where the saturated zone occupies a considerable part of the composite volume.
