The Value Chain Analysis of Manufacturing Industry's Information-based Engineering

Applying the theory of enterprise value chain to the information-based engineering of the manufacturing industry,this paper points out that the information-based engineering for the whole manufacturing industry is also a value chain. Furthermore,this paper analyses each of main factors of the value chain for the information-based engineering of the manufacturing industry. Then,the paper points out that by cooperating,there is a way to attain a two-side win. In the end,an empirical study on the information-based engineering of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province is achieved by the applying of the theory of value chain.
