| Abstract: | A general statement was made on the developing history and the research development of the numerical simulation of the bulk metal forming process. The applications of the upper unit technique and the finite element method were mainly introduced. An example of the finite element simulation was given and the developing trend of the simulation of bulk metal forming was analyzed. |
