Preparation and Implementation of the Primary Loop Hydraulic Test for VVER-1000 NPP

The paper describes the process and steps of hydraulic test for VVER-1000 nuclear power plant. Combined with design documents, standards and specifications and compared with first-stage project of Tianwan and typical plants in China, it puts forward the test acceptance criteria, test pressure, temperature requirements and control methods, and summarizes the preparation and precautions for the primary loop hydraulic test for Tianwan Unit 3, which leads a guiding role for the hydraulic test procedure and test execution, and offers reference for the follow-up hydraulic test and commissioning for plants of the same kind.
