| Abstract: | This paper first discusses the principle and classification of the Intrusion Detection System and its advantages and disadvantages. The issues about the application of intrusion detection systems to the enterprise infrastructure information management networks in electric power industry are also discussed. These issues include the general requirements of intrusion detection systems for these networks, and the general considerations for building intrusion detection systems for these networks. |
