The global annual sales of non-tire rubber products in 2012 increased 1.2 percent from the previous year, and the profit posted a big increase of 24.5%. The industry concentration is declining, mergers and acquisitions are strong, while the manufacturing continues to move eastward. The companies from Japan, America and Europe still dominate the market, with highly integrated and specialized business models. It is urgent for the non-tire rubber product companies in China to close gap with the advanced countries as soon as possible.
