Reflection on Professional College Education in Research Oriented Universities

After five years of practice,some drawbacks with professional education in research oriented universities have emerged.That's the reason why some universities have decided to retreat from professional college education resolutely.Without doubt,this decision is a denial to the previous years' decision and practice.But the change and undulation of research oriented universities is worthy of discussing.This essay takes Xiamen University as an example for anatomizing the establishment of professional college by research oriented universities, intended to get some instructional conclusions.
