| Abstract: | This paper introduces the development and present condition of permanent-magnet materials as well as the construction of permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors. It inquires into the problem of short-time overload and magnet degeneracy in the application of permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors to elevators and puts forward relevant solution. |
