Abstract:The paper analyzes the variation of number of theoretical plates viewing from the angle of R variation.Furthermore it makes an approach to the calculation method for R m in order to judge the selection of R.The influence of argon fraction drawn by using such a great reflux ratio of R on the performance of upper and lower columns of a rectification column and the feasibility are examined simultaneously.This represents integrity of theoretical preparations for oxygen/argon-free new technology.In addition,the corresponding changes in a pure argon column are demonstrated in the paper.
