Abstract:Peroviskite lead magnesium niobate Pb(Mg_(1/3),Nb_(2/3))O_3] and its homotypesare the relaxor ferroelectrics.This paper discusses the preparation of monosized PSNpowder through hydrolysis and coprecipitation methods.The controlled hydrolysis of Nb(OC_2H_5)_5 dilute solution produced a fine pow-der.Coprecipitation of a mixed aqueous of Sc_2(NO_3)_3 and Pb(NO_3)_2 with an excessof (NH_4)_2CO_3 solution developed a coating layer of Sc_2(CO_3)_3 and PbCO_3 on theas-hydrolyzed Nb_2O_5 particle surface.Calcining the layered particles resulted in amonosized PSN powder.
