A NEW COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE HEATING FURNACE OF FURNACE-WELDED BILLETS |

| Abstract: | A new double-atmosphere combustion technology by which billets can be heated effectively without oxidization has been developed in Keihin Works of NKK, Japan. The scale from burnt billets has reduced by 70% since all of the heating furnaces of furnace-welded billets were modified in 1987. |
