| Abstract: | The concept and basic ideas of sustainable development and modular manufacturing are expound-ed, and methods for the modular manufacturing technology to support the design and manufac-ture of green products are presented in this paper. Authors of this paper also point out that the modular manufacturing is an advanced, applicable and practicable manufacturing mode to revital-ize the manufacruring industry and implement the sustainable development strategy in China. |
