| Abstract: | The background of the giant Hall effect in metal-insulator granular thin films, as well as the preparation and measurement of the samples are introduced in this paper. The latest progress of giant Hall effect and the application are summarized. In the end the problems and directions of the research and application in the future are put forward. |
