Abstract: | An existing technique for determining the temperature distribution and the potential distribution of a Hall plate is extended to take into account the effect of the temperature-dependent conductivity and Hall coefficient. Equations to be used for that are presented. A practical example—the modeling of an intrinsic indium antimonide semiconductor-made Hall plate—is used to illustrate and evaluate the method using these equations. |
