| Abstract: | This paper consists of three parts. In the first part, the advantages of artificial plastic hinges proposed in literature (1) are commented when the hinges are applied in frame structures. In the second part, the reasonable place of artificial plastic hinge is explored. The result shows that the suggestion of shifting the beam hinge for one h_o from the beam root can be adopted. The third part is the conclusion. |
