Abstract:The magneto impedance (MI) effect in amorphous and current annealed Fe 73 5 Cu 1Nb 3Si 13 5 B 9 wires has been measured to investigate the influence of DC annealing, high current density electropulsing annealing and tensile stress applied during annealing process. The results showed that the MI of DC annealed sample exhibits a sharp maximum. The Maximum MI ratio of 60 % was observed in the sample of high current density electropulsing annealed under applied tensile stress.
