| Abstract: | Real materials inevitably contain both stress concentrators as cracks or notches and as dislocations, that is, both macroscopic and microscopic one. From this viewpoint, a concept of combined micro and macro fracture mechanics is proposed for low-stress brittle fracture of steels. |
