光电倍增管的噪声模型

摘    要:光电倍增管作为一个高灵敏的检测器.能够在来自阴极的单个光电子脉冲这样低的检测水平下工作。也就是说.在一个给定的时间间隔里输出脉冲的计数提供了光子撞击光阴极速率的测量。在这种情况下.光电倍增管本身的噪声变得更加重要了。着重讨论了光电倍增管的噪声来源,噪声特征及噪声模型。

Abstract:Photomultiplier is a photosensitive detector with many uses, for example, to detect electronic-magnetic radiation energy from ultraviolet ray to infrared ray, and it is the most sensitive monitor in this region. So it is important to research the noise from photomultiplier itself, for example, different kinds of noise source, noise characters and so on. The electronics models for photomultiplier are mentioned and discussed here by using the method of photo-electronics . It is interesting to detect very weak signal from quite strong background. I hope that the discussing about noise and modeling for photomultiplier will be helpful for designers to get very good signal on their research side.
