| Abstract: | This arcticle outlined the main progresses of current experimental analyses for petroleum geology,known by the authors through practice and investigation, including basic theoretical researches (the petroleum genetic theory of thermal degradation of kerogen, the petroleum genetic theory of non-marine fa-cies organic matter, and the genetic theory of immature and low-mature oil)and experimental and analytical technologies for petroleum geology (instruments and methodology of chemical analyses and physical tests ). The developing trend and the prospects for the experimental and analytical technologies of petroleum geology were discussed, and advices were proposed. |
