摘    要:从磷酸盐玻璃材料微观结构出发,建立了一种求解铒镱共掺光纤增益的新模型.定量分析了镱离子对铒离子浓度猝灭的抑制作用,通过模型计算得到泵浦光激励下,一定浓度的Er3 /Yb3 共掺磷酸盐玻璃光纤增益值,计算结果与实验数据符合很好.该模型为磷酸盐玻璃放大器的设计提供了数值依据.

Abstract:Based on the microstructures in phosphate glass,a new model to calculate gain of erbium-ytterbium co-doped fiber has been designed.The action that Yb~(3+)suppresses Er~(3+)concentration quenching is quantitatively analyzed.After having been excited with pumping light,the gain of the erbium-ytterbium co-doped phosphate glass fiber has been calculated.Comparing with the test results,they are closely fit.This model provides the numerical basis for designing the phosphate glass fiber amplifier.
