Point of View-an important technique in analyzing a novel

Point of View is a commonly used technique in writing a novel or a short story.It is unavoidable in narration, creating interest, conflict,suspense and even plot.Since the flourishing of the work of Joseph Conrad and Henry James, it has been considered the important technical aspect of fiction that leads critics most readily into understanding the problem and the meaning of novel or of a short story.Many writers have paid their attention to its application with novel ideas in practice and manipulated it in their literary works to achieve various rhetorical distances.Narrators, as the standard of classifying point of view, not only helps narrate a story, but also helps communicate between the author and the reader, and not only expresses his/her own attitude but also expresses a didactic form of an authorized commentary.
