| Abstract: | Recent advances in direct synthesis of trialkoxysilanes from silicon and alcohols were reviewed, including the raw material, solvent, catalysts and reaction conditions. Influence of silicon powder and alcohols on the synthesis process was discussed, furthermore, recent development in this field was presented. |
