Application Discussion on the Container-type Liquefied Natural Gas Tank

The application of containerized liquefied natural gas(LNG) tank greatly improves the efficiency of LNG transportation and has a strong influence on the traditional LNG trade in China. The development status of domestic containerized LNG tanks was introduced. The application characteristics of containerized LNG tanks were compared with the conventional LNG tank trucks. Based on the example of the trial filling of the container type LNG tank in Zhuhai LNG site, the application of the container type LNG tank was discussed. The optimization, improvement, opportunities and challenges brought by the container type LNG tank trade to the traditional domestic LNG trade were introduced.
