| 摘 要： | 虚拟现实（ＶＲ）是一个正在发展的高新技术，它允许用户在一个采用计算机生成的三维的动态的虚拟环境中活动或与之相互作用。虚拟制造（ＶＭ）是ＶＲ技术和计算机仿真技术在制造领域的发展及应用，是敏捷制造的关键技术之一，它试图将与制造有关的各项技术在一个共同的平台上集成在一起。本文介绍了虚拟制造的概念、特征、所需技术及其在先进制造技术上的应用实例。

| Abstract: | Virtual Reality (VR)is a new developed high technology,it allows a user to navigate and interact with a three dimensional and dynamic simulation of a real fictitious world.Virtual Manufacturing(VM) is the development of VR and computer simlation in the field of manufacturing. It aims at integrating diverse technologies related to manufacturing under a common umbrella.In this paper,the definition and characteristics for virtual manufacturing systems are discussed. Lastly,some examples of application of VM systems are presented. |
