Investigating the Causes for the Breaking-Off of Sucker Rods |

| Abstract: | The author discusses the breaking-off of the sucker rods at different well bores and, in the light of statistic data, asserts that most of the breakings occur at the lower and upper parts of the rod strings.Also the author offers some suggestions for elongating the service life of sucker rods after emphatically analysing the causes for the breakings. |
