| Abstract: | The temperature holding hoods used for continuous cast slab transferring vehicles are researched and developed in light of the structural characteristics of the cranes and factory buildings in the Hot Strip Rolling Mill,No.2 and No.3 Steel Plants of WISCO.The newly developed hoods are featured by their lightweight,excellent temperature holding capability,high adaptability and long service life.It is an important measure to raise the hot charging temperature in the process of hot-charging the continuous cast slab. |
