流媒体的拥塞控制技术研究综述

作为多媒体和网络领域得交叉学科,流媒体技术的应用和研究得到了迅速发展,但由于流媒体与传统网络媒体有着显著的差别,对流媒体的研究也就面临着巨大的挑战。其中网络拥塞是影响视频通信质量的一个重要因素,该文总结了视频传输的各种拥塞控制策略,并对现有的拥塞控制协议进行了比较,对提高视频传输的质量有一定的意义。

A Survey of Congestion Control Technology of Streaming Media

As multimedia and network domain interdisciplinary studies, the application and the research of streaming media technology obtained the rapid development, but because streaming media and the traditional network media has the remarkable difference, the streaming media research also was facing the huge challenge. Network congestion is one of the most important attributes affects the video communication quality, this article summarized each kind of congestion control strategy of the video frequency transmission, and has carried on the comparison to the existing congestion control agreement, have the certain significance to enhances the quality of the video frequency transmission.
