| Abstract: | The expatiation on historical context of architectural culture studies from vernacular dwelling to settlement in the southwest area, especially on the motivation and perspective of the study, reveals the domestic new trend in this field. It also provides the basic foundation and clue for studies of settlement culture in the southwest area. |
