Prediction of Tapping Temperature of Hot Metal in Converter

The use of artificial nervous network as prediction model for tapping process of converter make it possible to fully predict the tapping temperature of the converter. The factors effecting the tapping temperature and the steelmaking process of the converter are discussed, the theoretical basis for qualified hot metal production and dynamic control of the converter is thus provided. On account of the use of the model, the final tapping temperature of the converter could be exactly predict, the effects of the main process parameters (such as molten iron temperature, oxygen consumption and so on) on the tapping temperature could be analyzed and the prediction values are accurate.
