| Abstract: | This paper summarizes a comprehensive survey of casting methods happened in casting industry since last century. Based on the analysis of the developing history and current status of most kinds of casting methods such as continuous casting, continuous casting direct rolling, and electromagnetic continuous casting and near net shape casting, it indicated that to explore a high efficiency and energy saving material is a necessary trend for casting industry. |
