Abstract:The heat-resistant steel X12 CrMoWVNbN10-1-1(hereinafter referred to as X12 steel) for thermal power generation is regarded as the research object. With the help of JMatPro software, the calculations on the solidificationin a state of equilibrium, the isothermal transformation of supercooled austenite and the continuous cooling transformation were carried out. Meanwhile, the phase diagram, the TTT curve and the CCT curve were plotted respectively. The precipitates in X12 steel after heat treatment were observed and analyzed by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The results show that δ ferrite can be avoided at room temperature of X12 steel, when the heating temperature of austenitization is below 1 192 ℃. When the cooling rate of austenitization is greater than 10 ℃/min within the temperature range from 550 ℃ to 700 ℃, the M6C can be avoided. Moreover, the M23C6 phase precipitates at 904 ℃ according to the X12 steel equilibrium phase diagram.LAVES phase precipitates at 700 ℃. Z phase precipitates at 689 ℃. The M7C3 phase and M3C phase in X12 steel are precipitated during the tempering process at 550 ℃, and then transforme into M23C6 phase.
