基于PXA270的电子纸显示系统设计

摘    要:本文分析了电子纸显示原理以及电子纸显示的优点,提出一种全新的电子纸显示系统解决方案。采用基于Intel XScale架构处理器PXA270的电子纸显示系统,是一种高性能的完善的电子纸系统平台,实现了利用微胶囊电泳技术的电子纸的4级灰度显示、回显及局部显示,实现了电子纸驱动的模块化设计,系统即使在低功耗的情况下也能实现高亮度及优越的可读性。整个系统具有低功耗、扩展性强、系统融合难度低等优点。

Abstract:The paper introduces the principle and the merits of the electronic paper display, and offers a brand new solution for the electronic paper display system. Based on the Intel XScale micro-architecture processor PXA270, the electronic paper system platform is high-performance and comprehensive. The system implements 4-level grayscale display of electronic paper, which utilizes microencapsulated electrophoretic technology, and restore picture display and partial picture display. It implements the modularizing design of the electronic paper driver, so that it can offer high brightness and excellent readability while minimize power consumption. The system has some features such as low power consumption, high-expansibility and low-difficulty in system fusion.
