发展ADSL宽带接入—广东电信大力开展ADSL业务

Internet的飞速发展使用户对接入带宽提出了越来越高的需求。随着标准和技术的成熟以及成本的不断降低，ADSL日益受到运营商和用户的欢迎。广东曜的ADSL宽带接入网支持PPP虚拟拨号接入和固定接入两种业务模式，到2000年底全省已有ADSL用户4000户。2001年广东电信将迎来ADSL业务高速发展的一年。

As Internet services develop at very fast speed, customers demand increasingly higher access bandwidths. As the standards and technology become more mature and the cost keeps on dropping , ADSL services are gaining more and more popularity among the operators and customers. The ADSL broadband access network set up by Guangdong Telecom supports the two service modes of PPP virtual dial - up access and fixed access. By the end of 2000, the number of ADSL service users in Guangdong has reached 4000. The year 2001 will usher in high speed development of the ADSL services.
