煤炭是我国电力安全的命脉

中国55%的煤炭用于发电,发电量中80%以上是燃煤发电,煤炭供应安全和清洁利用是中国电力安全的命脉。与煤炭供应安全有关的问题有交通、煤炭的利用方式、进出口量和煤炭战略储备问题。我国2003～2007年煤炭消费增长率逐年下降,而电力的增长却一直坚挺,反映出火力发电量的高增长率对煤炭供应造成相当大的压力。我国煤炭短缺的主要原因是缺乏周密的煤炭工业产业结构调整计划,在煤炭开采中应坚持大中小并举,小煤矿是可以利用的。

Coal:the Lifeline of China's Power Security

55% of coal consumed in China is used for power generation and over 80% of the country＇s power production comes from coal-fired power plants.Therefore ,the stable supply and clean use of coal is the life- line of China＇s electricity security.Issues related to coal supply security include transport,the methods of using coal,coal import and export and strategic reserves.China＇s power demand has been very strong in recent years although the country＇s coal consumption slowed yearly during 2003-2007,indicating that the fast growth of power production has created enormous pressure on coal supply.China＇s coal shortage is mainly due to the lack of a thorough coal industry restructuring plan.In addition,not only large and medium-sized coalmines but also small coal pits are needed in developing coal resources.Small coal mines are exploitable.
