| Abstract: | The situation and progress on the research of selecting higher transmission voltage class for Northwest Power Network in China are briefly presented in this pager. It has been preliminary determined that 750kV will be adopted as the higher transmission voltage class over the 330kV being used. In consideration of the temporary decrease of growth rate of electric power industry in the Northwest China and the progress in the research on nation|wide interconnection, the authors put forward some views on this problem. |
