Abstract:The reason and harmfulness of residual casting stress was introduced, and the heat ageing process and vibration ageing process used for residual stress elimination was described in detail. Two types of ageing treatment process, their effect on stress elimination, cost, energy conservation and consumption reduction, etc. were introduced and compared.
