摘    要:星载超光谱遥感图像编码系统要求具有一定压缩比、无失真、低复杂度的特点.更为重要的是要求图像压缩算法应当尽可能减少码流比特错误造成的错误扩散,根据这些特点,本文提出一种易于硬件实现、低复杂度、抗误码强的变长游程编码算法,能够满足这类图像的压缩要求,同时将码流比特错误的扩散限制在有限几列,从而大大减少了地面像素信息的损失.实验结果表明,本算法具有很好的抗误码性能,压缩效率比JPEG-LS和JPEG2000略有下降.因此本算法非常适合星载超光谱图像压缩,也可用于其它基于无线传输的无损图像压缩.

Abstract:Satellite hyper-spectral image coding system requires lossless compression with lower complexity and some compressed ratio. And the most important feature for the algorithm is that measures must be taken to prevent the error propagation as early as possible. In terms of the features, a variable run coding algorithm is proposed with lower complexity, good error feature and easiness for hardware implementation. The experiment results show that the algorithm has good error feature and the compression efficiency is slightly lower than that of JPEG-LS and JPEG2000. So the algorithm is suitable for the satellite hyper-spectral image compression and also for other wireless-transfer-based lossless image compression.
