An Object-Oriented GIS Data Model Integrating Field and Object |

| Abstract: | The field-based model and object-based model are two classes of spatial information models.Many applications require that the two models should be integrated together.However,the integration of these two models causes many problems from high-level modeling,through data structure to system implementation.Based on investigating the problems in the process of integration,we propose an objectoriented approach for the integrated model in conceptual data model level,which solve many problems existing in integration. |
