40钢魏氏组织对机械性能的影响

摘    要:本文针对40钢几种形态的魏氏组织,进行了各种机械性能(拉伸、冲击、疲劳、冷脆)的试验研究。在试验中着重考虑了晶粒度的因素。以相同晶粒度不同等级魏氏组织及不同晶粒度相同等级的魏氏组织进行各种性能的纵横比较。结果表明了,在所试验的范围内单纯魏氏组织铁素体针状特征并不明显地降低机械性能,这就澄清了过去一般所谓魏氏组织对机械性能不良影响的原因,主要地并不是针状α铁的形态特征而是混有其他过热因素。因此笼统地认为魏氏组织对机械性能有不良影响是不全面的。

Abstract:This article Presents the study of some mechanical tests (tensile,impact, fatigue, and cold embrittlement) for several types of widmanstatten structure of 40 carbon steel. It was emphatically considered on the factor of grain size during tests, and was proceeded by comparing the condition both with defferent classes of Widmanstatten structure at the same grain size and with the same class of Widmanstatten structure but at different, grain size. Test results revealed that within the experimental environment the characteristic of needle-shape ferrite of the simply Widmanstatten structure has no obvious effect to decrease the mechanical properties. This explains why we usually confused that the Widmanstatten structure has any injurious effect on the mechanical properties of steels and the reason is not due to characterestics of needle a-ferrite but is due to some causes as overheating. Therefore; it is unsuitable by roaghly considering that the Widmanstatten structure has injurious influence on the mechanical properties.
