| Abstract: | By analyzing the damage mechanism in metal fatigue, the paper proposes a method of strain range partitioning. On the basis of this method, a threeparameter strain fatigue formula is proposed. This formula overcomes the disadvantage of MansonCoffin formula and can well imitate the experimental results of strain fatigue. It is very convenient to calculate the damage and life of structures with the formula. |
