Design and implementation of a query system of hydro technology standard terminology

This paper presents the purpose and significance of building a query system of hydro technology standard terminology and explains the design idea and implementing method for such building. The system is based on information technology and database technology, which make the current hydro technology terminoIogy standards digitalized, structured, more perfected, easier utilized and better shared. This paper firstly analyzed the functional demands and function partition, secondly proposed a system framework and database design, and finally explained how to use STRUTS framework, SPRING framework and HIBERNATE framework to implement the whole system configuration. It is believed that this system would be used not only for querying hydro technology standard terminology, but also for providing reference in revising the hydro technology standard.
