基于XML-SVG的空间数据库设计与实现

摘    要:SVG作为一种开放的标准,以文本格式描述矢量图形,其主要优势是实现基于网络的矢量图形信息发布。实践证明,在利用其进行空间矢量信息的发布时,始终无法回避海量数据或大数据集的处理,从而使SVG文档(Document)很大,不仅需要高配置的硬件环境,而且影响空间信息网上发布的运行速度,削弱了它的优势。由此,提出了建立SVG数据库,试图利用数据库管理系统合理利用资源,以解决大数据文档所产生的信息发布瓶颈问题。该文尝试了利用对象关系数据模型,将SVG文档映射到关系型数据管理系统库中。研究表明,利用所建的SVG空间数据库在WEB服务器端管理空间数据,可提高基于XML-SVG空间信息网上发布的性能,并以广东省部分应用实例证明了其可行性、可操作性和实用性。

Abstract:SVG,which stands for Scalable Vector Graphics,is an open standard in text format that makes it possible to represent graphic information in compact,portable form and mostly be used on publishing the spatial vector graphics in network environment.In practice terms,it's impossible to avoid a great capacity of spatial data processing,which had made SVG document is too big to be implemented during publishing on the Internet.It slowes down the executing speed of the system on client side and weakens its advantages and superiority.Thus,SVG database has been proposed as the solution for managing all the graphics and its attributes of SVG document in a DBMS on Web server side.This paper discusses that SVG document is mapped into SVG database by using O-R data model.It is implemented as a data management or administrator on the server side.The publishing efficiency has been improved to a great performance with XML-SVG approach.In order to prove the feasibility,maneuverability and practicability of the result,a case study has been taken with the spatial information service system of Guangdong Province.
