频谱恢复技术综述

摘    要:频谱恢复(SBR)压缩技术能够极大地提高感知音频编码器的压缩效率,并且已成为MPEG-4 version 3的音频频谱扩展标准,在许多场合得到了应用。采用SBR技术避免了编码器对音频信号高频部分的编码与传输,在接收端重构高频部分,从而在低比特率条件下能得到更高品质的音频信号。文中主要介绍SBR技术的、原理、特点及其应用。

Abstract:Spectral band replication (SBR) is a novel technology, which significantly improves the compression efficiency of perceptual audio codecs. SBR has been chosen as Band Extension for MPEG-4 Version 3 audio standardization and now enjoys many applications. SBR takes off from the encoder the burden of encoding and transmitting high frequency components, thus allowing for a much higher audio quality at low bit rates. The development, principle, characteristics as well as the current and future applications of SBR are introduced in this paper.
