Innovative Design of Traditional Geometric Patterns and Its Application in School Uniform

This paper analyzes the expression forms of traditional geometric patterns and the connotation of several representative patterns,including individual form,scattered form,geometric form and tangled form.Four innovative design methods of traditional geometric patterns which are organically integrated with modern fashion elements are expounded,including morphological simplification,exaggerated deformation,scatter reorganization and combination of Chinese and Western elements.Finally,combining with the school uniform design of primary school,it expounds the innovative application of traditional geometric pattern from three aspects of color echo,style matching and overall layout,which provides references for the design of primary school uniforms and the inheritance and development of traditional geometric patterns as well.
