摘    要:A high precision and rather wide pass-band width logarithmic amplifier is presented,where thelogarithmic function is produced by using the exponential function of charge and discharge of RC,and pulsewidth modulation is used to obtain the highest precision of the logarithmic function.A practical circuit systembased on theoretical consideration has been built,and characteristic data are obtained from the systemshowing that precision of the logarithmic function is better than 99%.Thus a long hoped for method for highprecision logarithmic amplifier has been related.It will greatly facilitate the improvement of precisionmeasurement in astronomy,astro-navigation and accurate measurements in communication problems,etc.
