Treatment of Seal Leakage in High Pressure Flange

The structure and operation of the ring gasket used in the high pressure flange seal were briefly stated in this article. Based on the cause of the leakage, the methods of protecting leakage from the different aspects of vibration, assembly, the operation and the material of the piping were introduced. Then, based on the damage ofthe seal components, the- methods for protecting leakage by use of seal component repair and ring gasket improvement were proposed.
