MMS技术及在便携式车牌识别系统中的应用

针对基于Intel PXA255处理器和WINCE操作系统的嵌入式手持车牌识别系统中设备与服务器之间的远程无线数据传输问题,提出了一种基于MMS技术的数据传输与同步方法,在该便携式车牌识别系统中实现了将本地车牌识别结果及车牌信息快速上传至车牌管理中心服务器存储和备份以及远程查询车辆信息等功能,取得了较好的应用效果,对同类系统设计与研究有一定的参考价值.

Application of MMS technology to portable license plate identification system

For solving the long-distance wireless data transmission between a data server with a kind of portable license plate identification device,which is based on Intel PXA255 processor and WINCE OS,a data transmission and the synchronized method based on the multimedia messaging service (MMS) technology is presented.With the method,we have realized the functions in the license plate identification device,including the fast data uploading to the car license plate management center server with the recognition results and the relevant information of the local license plate,and obtaining the vehicles query information from the remote data server,and so on.We obtained valuable practical results; and it has certain practical reference value to the similar system design and research.
